Department: HOTEL FRONT OFFICE
Pay range – Hourly Commensurate with Education and Experience with shift premium for 3rd shifts.
Requires a flexible schedule based on business, client, and staffing demands. Weekends & Holidays required.

  • Greets and registers arriving guests at check-in. Handles guest inquiries and addresses any reported problems quickly and efficiently. Keeps guest’s accounts current and documents all room changes.  Checks out all departing guests.  Communicates necessary information with other staff and departments.  Maintains cash banks and issues/closes out safety deposit boxes. Handles all front desk accounting needs.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to work well with co-workers and within a “team atmosphere”. Detail oriented, pro-active. Ability to stay calm under pressure; Basic math skills, including percentages. Computer skills.

Department: HOUSEKEEPING
Pay range – Hourly Commensurate with Education and Experience
As needed. Weekends required.

  • Consistently performs laundry duties under the direction of the Laundry Supervisor.
  • Empties and sorts soiled linen from spa chute, rooms, and villas.
  • Washes, dries, presses, folds, stacks, and distributes all laundry
  • Loads and unloads washers and dryers.
  • Keeps work area neat and tidy.
  • Sweeps and mops laundry floors.
  • Adheres to safety standards of the department.
  • Performs all other duties assigned by Housekeeping Manager or Laundry Supervisor.
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate laundry equipment.
  • Follows Inn and department standards and procedures.
  • Prior experience helpful but not necessary.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at a level necessary to read and follow instructions.
  • Able to lift up to 40lbs.
  • The work environment may vary from day to day. Most duties will be performed indoors, however a significant amount of time is spent walking between the Inn and the Villas in inclement weather.

  • Responsible for set-up of dining room and service areas of kitchen, taking orders, and delivering food, beverage and all other requests by guests.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and procedure manuals. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and fellow associates. Fine Dining experience preferred.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Vision and sensory abilities include close and color vision and a sense of depth.
  • Environment is fast paced with a high volume, may be subject to changes in temperature from hot to cold to extreme weather conditions.

Nights and weekends primarily.

  • Provide customer service and sell retail products.
  • Contribute to budgeted sales figures. Extend professional guest service. Recommend and sell products to guests. Process sales transactions. Cash handling. Process day guest checkouts.   • Individual will be expected to assist the therapist staff in the daily operations of spa treatment areas. Responsible for maintaining product and linen par levels and ensuring efficient ordering of supplies. Responsible for dispensing out all treatment supplies and controlling portion size. Responsible for monitoring inventory in treatment rooms in order to replenishing product.
  • High School Diploma required. Guest Service experience necessary. Computer facility required.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in flawless English. Second language skills a plus.
  • Must be able to read a computer monitor and type on an electronic keyboard while standing; push, pull, lift and carry 50 lbs.; walk long distances between buildings; stand at post for 6-8 hours per day.

  • Responsible for requesting and stocking all linen, locker room amenities, and supplies as needed; as well as keeping these areas clean.  Assists and directs guests to the proper location to await their treatments.  Distributes keys, lockers, robes, slippers and guest supplies.  Acts as Ambassador / Ambassadress to our guests before and after their treatments.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. High School Diploma required. Guest Service experience necessary. Computer facility.
  • A minimum of 1 year prior experience in hospitality, spa, or related guest service industry preferred. Must be able to speak, read, and write in flawless English.   Must be able to add, subtract, divide, multiply.
  • Must be able to read a computer monitor and type on an electronic keyboard while standing. Must be able to repetitively push, pull, tug, lift and carry 50lbs. at a time. Must be able to walk and / or stand at post for 6 to 8 hours per day.

  •  Primarily responsible for reception-oriented duties, and providing guests with the highest quality of customer service to include greeting guests, attending to their needs, arranging guest appointments, taking payment for services and assisting guests with service and treatment inquiries and bookings. Supervising the Front desk staff as well as Locker attendants, both male and female locker rooms.
  • Experience in managing an appointment/desk staff in a day spa or resort spa preferred. Supervisory experience in high-quality, luxury-oriented resort spa, destination spa facility or high-end club.
  • Bachelor’s Degree. Proficient in Microsoft Office and previous computer skills on spa/salon booking system preferred. Strong administrative and management skills, including experience with operating budget. Warm, enthusiastic manner, with excellent interpersonal and member/guest relations skills. Detail and multi-task oriented.
  • Excellent personal appearance, good communication skills and a friendly, congenial personality is a must. Ability to work in a high-volume, busy service environment while maintaining composure and focusing on the member and guest. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be flexible, with the ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Under the supervision of Spa Management the incumbent will perform massage therapy and will be trained to perform other spa body treatments including but not limited to hydrotherapy, body wraps, exfoliation treatments, hot stone treatments, etc. General knowledge of spa operations, equipment, products and procedures are essential.
  • Must be currently licensed as a Massage Therapist in the State of Connecticut. National certification a plus.
