Department: SALON
Pay range – Commission Based Compensation
Requires a flexible schedule based on business, client, and staffing demands.
Weekends & Holidays required.

  • Under the supervision of the Salon & Nail Supervisor, the stylist provides professional, high quality hair care services for clients.
  • The Stylist provides own service utensils including but not limited to uniform, curling iron, hairdryer, flat iron, shears, clippers, brushes, combs and clips.
  • Stylist is responsible to booking appointments, cashiering, collecting payment from client, encouraging retail sales, making a sales quota, cleaning, and when necessary, performing float duties in the Spa.
  • MUST have experience in and be proficient at performing up-dos.
  • Experience with Goldwell color preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of computers, copiers, fax, adding machines, calculators.
  • Must possess well-developed customer service techniques and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients.
  • High school diploma or GED as well as a beautician/cosmetician CT State License and a minimum of two to four years salon experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education is required.
  • Hospitality or spa experience preferred.

Department: F&B MANAGEMENT
Pay range – Salary Commensurate with Education and Experience

  • Responsible for oversight of the operational and financial activities of the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Provides hands-on support and guidance in both back and front of house operations as needed.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of policies and standards of the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills. Must have the ability to prepare and/or manage financial and/or staffing budgets, excellent written and verbal communications skills to prepare detailed correspondence and make presentations to senior management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel Management as well as minimum 7 years combined experience as Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director in similar operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Department: RESTAURANT

Pay range – Hourly Commensurate with Education and Experience
Requires a flexible schedule. Evenings, Weekends and Holidays are required.

  • Supervise Dining Room. Ensure guest satisfaction and that standards are followed.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills to be able to deal with guests and employees.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, and operating procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Must have a minimum of 2-4 years experience with a fine dining establishment or have comparable education and/or experience. Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Department: HOTEL FRONT OFFICE
Pay range – Hourly Commensurate with Education and Experience
Requires a flexible schedule based on business, client, and staffing demands.

  • Greets and registers arriving guests at check-in.
  • Handles guest inquiries and addresses any reported problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Keeps guest’s accounts current and documents all room changes.
  • Checks out all departing guests.
  • Communicates necessary information with other staff and departments.
  • Maintains cash banks and issues/closes out safety deposit boxes. Handles all front desk accounting needs.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work well with co-workers and within a “team atmosphere”.

Department: SPA TREATMENT
Pay range – Hourly Commensurate with Education and Experience
Varied schedule to include weekends, holidays and weekday evenings.

  • Under the supervision of Spa Management, the incumbent will perform massage therapy and will be trained to perform other spa body treatments including but not limited to hydrotherapy, body wraps, exfoliation treatments, hot stone treatments, etc. General knowledge of spa operations, equipment, products and procedures are essential.
  • Must be currently licensed as a Massage Therapist in the State of Connecticut. National certification a plus.
